High Tide Lacrosse Launching Girls Travel Lacrosse Teams on Long Island

High Tide Lacrosse Club is expanding to the girls side of the game and will be launching its first girls travel lacrosse team in Nassau County, Long Island for the 2026/27 Season.


The program will initially focus on one team for the 2036 and 2037 graduation years, with plans to grow additional teams each year.


Based out of Oceanside, New York, High Tide Lacrosse Club was founded to provide young athletes with high-level coaching, strong fundamentals, and a competitive team environment while keeping the game fun and development focused.


As part of the launch of the girls program, High Tide will be hosting several opportunities for players to get involved this year.


Upcoming Girls Lacrosse Opportunities


High Tide Lacrosse will be hosting clinics and events for girls interested in joining the program.


  • Girls Skills Clinic*

    • March 18th & 25th, 4-5pm and 5-6pm @ Coleman Country daycamp in Oceanside, NY

  • Girls Lacrosse Spring/Summer Series Clinics

    • TBA soon - 6 sessions after PAL season ends.

  • Girls Travel Team Tryouts:

    • Graduation Years: 2036 and 2037

    • Date: TBA - July 2026


*This clinic will be coached by Coach Robyn Rooney, a former Division I lacrosse player at the University of Connecticut, who brings high-level playing experience and coaching insight to help young athletes develop their stick skills, lacrosse IQ, and overall game.


These clinics and sessions are designed to introduce players to the High Tide coaching style while focusing on stick skills, lacrosse IQ, competitive drills, and gameplay.

About High Tide Lacrosse Club


High Tide Lacrosse is a Long Island–based youth lacrosse program founded by Tom Burke to bring a fresh, competitive experience to the South Shore of Nassau County. The program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship while helping young athletes build confidence and a strong foundation in the game.


The program is directed by Brian Tower, former professional lacrosse player and longtime coach, who brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the development of High Tide athletes.


High Tide families come from across Nassau County, including Oceanside, Long Beach, Island Park, Lynbrook, East Rockaway, Rockville Centre, Franklin Square, Carle Place, Mineola, Westbury, Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa, Merrick, Bellmore, Hewlett, and nearby communities.
